The purpose of the training:

The purpose of this training is to familiarize the participants with the basics of the Polish Civil Code and its institutions, with both theory and rationale behind it. The course focuses on the book I of the Code i.e. general provisions. Additionally, some elements of book II i.e. ownership and other property rights shall also be covered.

The most significant differences between civil law and common law shall be pointed out, where applicable.
