The purpose of the training:

The purpose of this training is to provide the participants with basic legal knowledge essential for effective and valid contracting in the modern business setting. The training covers extensively contract formation, performance as well as presents available tools for securing claims under a given agreement. Furthermore, it also touches on the issues of breach of contract (default) and both judicial and enforcement proceedings in order to give the students an idea of pros and cons of non-amicable dispute resolution. Throughout the training key business and legal issues will be identified by the lecturer so that the participants can understand and apply in the future the rationale behind specific contractual solutions. General characterization of the main types of contract provided by the Civil code shall be given.

The most significant differences between civil law and common law shall be pointed out, where applicable.
